Nestled atop a hill, at 1700 E Meyer Blvd, Nazarene Theological Seminary is the sole graduate school of theology for the Church of Nazarene in North America. With 60 employees and nearly 70 years in operation, Rev. Dr. Carla Sunberg and colleagues strive to nurture a living faith through spiritual formation. Their mission is to prepare pastors, educators, missionaries, chaplains and ministers to serve around the world.
Additional campus sites include CA, OH, OK, MA and TN, as well as online courses, NTS utilizes all teaching tools to reach students. A new library and lounge remodel, new landscaping on student housing on Woodland, and solar panel installation on the library are a few of the ways they have improved the school in the last year.
With a strong tie to the Kansas City community and commitment to their students near and far, it is easy to see why they have been around for seven decades.
