The 26th Annual Research Medical Center Golf Classic will be held on Monday, August 17 at Milburn Country Club. Proceeds will support The Research Foundation’s ThinkFirst Injury Prevention Program. ThinkFirst educates more than 55,000 local students grades K-12 through age appropriate assemblies aimed at preventing traumatic injuries among youth. These free, award-winning assemblies are presented by a health educator and one or more young person who has sustained a permanent brain injury or spinal cord injury. These assemblies teach kids about safe driving, seat belts, pedestrian and bicycle safety, water safety and avoiding guns and violence.
