In October of 2015, The Troost Avenue Community Improvement District added 16 banners throughout the Troost corridor. A light blue banner with a colorful and unique tulip was the winning design from a group of many talented artists. These fun banners can be seen on Troost from 46th Street to 75th Street as well as 63rd Street and Rockhill Road.
Troost Avenue District is a vibrant and important area in Kansas City. We are happy to add just a little bit of sparkle to this historic district. Thank you to all who submitted artwork, the Cleaver YMCA for hosting the unveiling and the Troost CID for making it all happen.
