Waldo gave a hearty send off to Mayor Jerry Singer and thanked him for all his tireless efforts supporting and promoting Waldo over the last year. The newly inaugurated Mayor Melissa Saubers shared pompoms and encouraged everyone to cheer on Waldo for the next year!

Pooches Paradise brought out canines large and small in their first Pet Contest, which also included a pet/owner “look-a-like” competition. Choirs, bands and Jim Cosgrove (Mr. Stinky Feet) serenaded the many festival goers who enjoyed a beautiful day in downtown Waldo. Betty Tillotson held her Roaring 20th Annual Tap-a-Thon and displayed an outstanding performance
of the Charleston.

The day was made possible and went smoothly thanks to many volunteers who continue to make Waldo an amazing community.
