The City Council passed new regulations regarding billboards in Kansas City. Since that time, a number of billboards are slated to be removed due to lack of activity and upkeep on the billboards. These include six boards on Troost Ave. from 31st St. to 87th St., one on Prospect and one at 85th and Holmes. The City began with a caseload of 25 billboards out of compliance with the new regulations and now has five left that may need to be removed.
