When you drive along Wornall Road, you can’t help but see the amazing transformation of Almar Printing located at 7735 Wornal Rd. Congratulations to the owners of Almar Printing, Sam and Mary Gromowsky, for being awarded the December Waldo’s Best Award. They have owned and operated the family business since 1966 and been steadfast supporters of the Waldo area for more than 46 years!
Extensive improvements were made to the building and parking areas. All the materials used from paint to parking lot products were bought locally.
“We only used contractors from the area and who were our own customers,” assured Sam. “We understand the importance of successful small businesses and we support local vendors as much as possible.” Almar was one of the first Waldo businesses to benefit from the Storefront Improvement Project provided by the Waldo CID.
