Golf ClassicAre you ready to hit a hole-in-one? Registration is now open for The Research Foundation’s 24th Annual Research Medical Center Golf Classic and Silent Auction on Monday, August 19th at Blue Hills Country Club. Starting at 12:30 p.m., the Golf Classic features an 18-hole, 4-person scramble with a shotgun gun start. Sponsorships range from $200 - $10,000 and many include golfing positions. Golfers enjoy green fees, cart, lunch, cocktail reception, food buffet, prize drawings and awards ceremony.
Proceeds support The Research Foundation’s ThinkFirst of Greater Kansas City,providing free school-based assemblies to area students in grades K-12. Featuring a brain or spinal cord survivor and healthcare professional, the assembly stresses the importance of making safe decisions like wearing seatbelts, driving safely, using a bicycle helmet and not diving into shallow water. ThinkFirst of Greater Kansas City reaches more than 35,000 local youth each school year.
