Holmes Park is getting a new playground and you can help shape the final design! Years of working with the City of Kansas City, KC Parks and community partners has paid off (again)! KC Parks, in partnership with Gunter Construction, is eager to share the latest information and get the community’s feedback about the Holmes Park playground. The project team will discuss the project background and share new design renderings at three upcoming opportunities for public engagement.

Holmes Park is located in south Kansas City between Holmes Road and Troost Ave., 69th and 70th Streets. After many years of input and planning through a park master plan, the Kansas City Parks Department, in collaboration with Gunter Construction, is prepared to update the park’s playground Spring 2024.
