Did you know that over 50,000 tulips were planted this fall along the Troost Avenue corridor? That’s right! With the help of many volunteers, sponsors, and area businesses, a lot of dirt was turned and bulbs planted. We are anxiously waiting spring for tulips and warm weather! The Tulip Committee is also working with Radio Disney on a spring celebration- stay tune!
But the job is not done. Additional sponsors, funds, and volunteers are needed. In 2007, we hope to plant additional bulbs, create 200 more flower beds, add perennials and annuals to the existing beds, maintain the beds, and continue to publicize Tulips on Troost!
