Three women from Research Medical Center were among those honored at this year’s Southern Christian Leadership Conference’s Black Achievers Awards. The recipients were chosen based on their workplace achievement, personal education and contribution to the community. The honorees were Founder and current physician of Southtown’s Women’s Healthcare, Dr. Sharon Harris-Baugh; collaborative partner with Harris-Baugh, Jean Winfield, R.N., M.S.N.; and Wanda Taylor-Harris, a market manager responsible for the overall strategic direction of 16 multi-specialty physician practices within the HCA Midwest Health System. All three are very active in the community. Congratulations!
