Southtown Welcomes New Employees

Maureen Lunn is the Tulips on Troost's (TOT) newest member, serving as an Americorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America). She came to TOT, thanks to her interest in local non-profit work and experiences living and working in areas surrounding Troost Avenue. Prior to becoming a VISTA, she completed a master's degree in African Studies at the University of Kansas and has served as director of student ministries at Jacob's Well Church in midtown, and at YouthFront in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. As the first Project Manager for TOT, Maureen hopes to formalize the program, develop a volunteer and donor base, and expand the program to strength and stabilize the Troost Avenue corridor.

Ravin Graham is the Project Manager for the newly formed Waldo Community Improvement District (CID). Ravin worked in banking for ten years, raised a family, worked at the Heartland Presbytery, manages commercial and residential property, and is an ordained lay pastor. She will be managing the Waldo CID including the contracts with the new maintenance and area awareness officers, working with the CID board on beautification projects and assisting in the promotion and marketing of Waldo.
