McDonald's - Waldo's Best Recipient

[img_assist|nid=493|title=McDonald's|desc=|link=node|align=left|width=150|height=96]The WABA Property Committee selected McDonald's Restaurant on Wornall Rd. for the July Waldo Best Award. For the past 6 years, owner Ty Yano has operated this restaurant at 8326 Wornall Rd. and he employs more than 50 people. The restaurant is open from 6am to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 24 hours a day Thursday through Saturday. Mr. Yano operates a total of four McDonald's in the metro area.

Waldo Rockin' Block Party

The Waldo Promotion/Program Committee is pulling out all the stops for this year's 18th annual community event. The Waldo Fall Festival, now called the Waldo Rockin' Block Party will have extended hours and will provide endless opportunities for people to spend the day and evening in Waldo.

"ANNIE"
Theatre at Vis, a ministry of Visitation Parish, presents "Annie" on July 29, 30, 31 at 7 p.m. and August 1, at 1 p.m. These performances include 50 children & teens ages 9-19 from several parishes.
