Waldo Import BuildingWaldo is buzzing about the transformation of the building formerly known as the Waldo Import Car Repair at 7222 Wornall Road. M&G Waldo Imports LLC saw great potential and promise in this site and made a substantial $130,000 investment to resurrect the property.
A complete renovation of the building and lot was needed. “We’ve replaced all the exterior façade, added a new roof, parking lot, and complete sign package,” said property owner Marshal Blount. Extensive environmental abatement efforts were necessary as oil tanks, tires, cars and batteries
polluted the lot. “We have also greatly improved the interior of the building, complete with all
new electric, plumbing, HVAC, two new baths and storage space”.
IT Central, formerly located at 7208 Wornall, has relocated to the renovated Waldo Import building as one of the tenants. “IT Central’s space requirements changed and this move was a perfect fit for them,” Blount commented. There is roughly 1,000 square feet of finished space ready for a second tenant.
