Special Request from Habitat

I would like to invite everyone to visit and consider helping to work in and market the neighborhood around Habitat's Pritchard Place project (1456 E 66th Terrace). As most of you know, Habitat is building seven houses here. We demolished two blighted houses and built on a vacant land trust lot, (the result of a recent City demolition) thus improving the neighborhood.

There is still work to do in this neighborhood bounded by Troost on the west, Paseo on the east and Forest Hill Cemetery on the south. There are plenty of vacant houses that need attention. On the positive side, there are good schools, services and transportation available. Coming soon is the recently announced Kauffman School locating nearby in the former Nazarene World Headquarters Campus and the redevelopment of the former Cleveland Chiropractic College. Plans are also underway for the redevelopment of the former Baptist Medical Center campus into an affordable, continuum of care community for seniors by NetGiver. All of these additions and assets make living here an ideal spot for years to come!

If you would be interested in a tour of the area or have any questions about our project please feel free to contact me. We would love to see this neighborhood turn into a thriving mixed-income community in the coming years with families attracted by the schools and employees enjoying the location and ease of the short commute. We look forward to your help in this effort!
