WABA’s Founders Honored at Festival

[img_assist|nid=737|title=WABA Founders|desc=|link=node|align=center|width=638|height=331]History was made on September 24th at the 19th Annual Waldo Fall Festival. Six of the founders of the Waldo Area Business Association were graciously honored for their many years of dedication and service to the Waldo area. Mayor Sly James and Councilwoman Jan Marcason expressed the City’s sincere appreciation to Betty Tillotson, Dave Smith,Dr. John Turley, Norm Besheer, Sam Gromowsky and Tom Johnston through a City Proclamation declaring that September 24, 2011 was Waldo Founders Day.

The recognition was held in front of a record crowd at the Opening Ceremony of the Waldo
Fall Festival. Congratulations to all six well-deserved recipients of the Founders Award.
